  • V-6 or V-8 engines and rear- or all-wheel drive configurations available
  • Special 90th Anniversary Edition for the 300 Limited trim

The 2016 Chrysler 300 is a full-size sedan that comes with a V-6 or V-8 engine and rear- or all-wheel drive configurations. For 2016, Chrysler celebrates its history by releasing a 90th Anniversary Edition for the 300 Limited trim, which includes navigation, SiriusXM Travel and Traffic Link info, a dual-pane sunroof, and floor mats with the embroidered anniversary logo. The 300S trim has firmer springs, performance-oriented steering, larger sway bars for the V-8 upgrade, and Goodyear Eagle F1 three-season tires.

The Chrysler 300 comes in 4 trim levels: the 300 Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum.

The Chrysler 300 has a boxy, muscular design with a distinctively massive grill. Even though its body lines are quite minimal, the 300 strikes a very bold presence as a full-size sedan. Standard features include heated power side mirrors and keyless push-button start. A panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and larger 18-, 19-, and 20-inch aluminum wheels are also available.

The Chrysler 300 comes standard with a 292-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive (RWD).The 300S has the same engine but it has been tuned to achieve 300-hp. A 363-hp, 5.7-liter V-8 is available for the 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum trim levels. All-wheel drive (AWD) is also available. For trims with the V-6 and RWD configuration, the Chrysler 300 gets an EPA-estimated 19/31 mpg city/highway. Opting for the V-6 and AWD drops fuel economy to 18/27 mpg. Furthermore, fuel economy drops to 16/25 mpg for the V-8 and RWD, and 15/23 mpg for the V-8 and AWD.

Inside, the Chrysler 300 has upscale, leather-trimmed seats and stitched-pattern door panels. Other standard features include heated front seats, a 60/40-split rear seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8.4 inch touch screen multimedia system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 7-inch instrumental panel screen. Navigation system, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, a Harmon Kardon premium audio system, and heating/cooling cupholders are available.

The Chrysler 300 earned an overall 4- out of 5-star crash test safety rating from the NHTSA. Standard features include a backup camera, front airbags, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability system. Forward collision warning with automatic braking and lane departure warning and prevention system are available as well.
